Outside,
the condo offers serene views in every direction. Above is the view
from the lanai, looking across the Number 8 and 10 fairways of the Blue
Course with the cloud-shrouded peak of Mt. Haleakala in the distance.
The condo is on the second floor (there is no elevator), and there is
a parking space in front of the unit.
Below
are views of the pool area, and below that, a view of the condo from
across the golf course. The complex has two pools and two whirlpool
spas.
The
Wailea Resort is a 1,500-acre master-planned vacation destination with
hotels, restaurants, three golf courses and a tennis complex.
Guests
have access to the 11-court tennis complex that features Plexipave courts,
three of which are lit for night play. A half-court is available for
practice or warm-up. The tennis center has lessons, racquet rentals,
game-matching services and a fully stocked pro shop, among its amenities.
Golfers
can choose from three 18-hole courses the Blue, the Gold and
the Emerald. During the winter months, golfers on all three courses
can glimpse humpback whales that return to Maui each year to breed.
Each course has its draw. The Blue Course gives a "tour" of
the resort, the Gold Course provides the kind of challenge that has
made it the host course of the Senior Skins Game, and the Emerald Course
is "spectacularly scenic."
